Delhi Public School Tezpur believes in the wholesome development of each and every child. The academic curriculum is strongly supported by co-curricular activities. All the students are encouraged to perform in a variety of activities to develop their love for culture, tradition, festivals, poems, and learning experience through play, music, and dance.
Each student is required to achieve at least two credit in co-curricular to be promoted to the next class. Honour badges are awarded for excellence in all areas of co-curricular activities. All-rounder trophies are awarded to the student excelling in both academics and co-curricular activities. The separate activity schedule for pre-primary classes are planned and implemented for each session.
Annual functions are also held separately by the junior wing and primary wing to encourage maximum participation of the students. Winter carnival is organised every year on Christmas Eve for fun and frolic. Summer camp is organized every summer vacation in which the school incorporates different activities including sport, fine arts, classical dance, vocal & instumental music, craft skill, theatre, etc.
