The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 was held with great pride and enthusiasm at Delhi Public School, Tezpur, on 2nd August 2025. The event marked the official induction of the newly elected Student Council and Principal’s Club members.
The event commenced with a brief introduction by the presenter. Thereafter, the Principal delivered an inspiring welcome address, highlighting the values of leadership, teamwork, and responsibility.
A unique and heartwarming feature of this year’s ceremony was that the badges were pinned by the respective parents of the student leaders. This proud moment strengthened the bond between the school and families, making the occasion even more memorable. It was a moment of immense pride as parents walked onto the stage to honour their children.
The School Captain, Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Cultural and Sports Captains, and other council members felt honoured and motivated to carry out their duties with integrity and dedication.
After the badge ceremony, parents shared their views regarding the event and other aspects of the school. The ceremony concluded with a group photograph and light refreshments.
By and large, it was indeed a memorable occasion that instilled leadership and responsibility in the young minds.
