ISRO’S “SPACE ON WHEELS”

DPS Tezpur had the prestigious honor of being handpicked by the Assam Government to host ISRO’s innovative outreach program, ‘Space on Wheels.’ This unique initiative, aimed at inspiring the youth and fostering an interest in space exploration, marked a significant milestone as DPS Tezpur became one of the few schools in Eastern India selected to host this prestigious event.

The two-day event transformed the campus into a vibrant hub of space education and exploration, attracting schools from all around Tezpur. Students and educators alike were treated to an immersive experience, where they had the rare opportunity to witness firsthand the technological marvels developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

The ‘Space on Wheels’ program showcased an array of ISRO’s space technology, including detailed models of launch vehicles, satellites, and various space missions that have propelled India onto the global space stage.
